A home that feels quiet and open today might not feel that way in a year or two. Empty plots can become high-rises, peaceful roads can turn busy with a new mall, and lovely open views can vanish behind another building.
By asking about future construction plans – with neighbours, local agents, or even local authorities if possible – you get a hint of what’s coming. Maybe there’s a planned flyover, a commercial complex, or another tower that will bring more noise, traffic or shade.
You can’t predict everything, but it’s better to know if a major project is already approved next door. You might still choose the home, but you’ll do it with open eyes. Or you might decide to look for something a little more stable if peace and light are priorities for you.
Ignoring this angle is like buying into today’s photo, without checking what the camera will see tomorrow.
